Biogas

Biogas - a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide produced in the process of anaerobic digestion in special reactors – These reactors arranged and managed in such a way to ensure maximum methane. Energy obtained by burning biogas, can reach 60 to 90% efficiency.

Using biogas in plants, especially in the agro-industrial complexes where there is the possibility of complete ecological cycle can effectively increase the economic benefit. Biogas can be used for lighting, heating, cooking, transport (fuel for tractors and cars) and power generation.

Biogas technology - reliable and cost-effective alternative to natural gas and can be a backbone of centralized electricity. The use of animal waste, crop production, food processing and sewage for biogas production will make your company owner of a small gas field with an annual output of 1 to 20 million m3 and the plant capacity from 30 kW to 10 MW.

The introduction of biogas technology in recent years has spread rapidly due to higher prices for electricity and gas. The acceleration of the pace in the coming years will make biogas only solution to solve the problems of lack of energy supply.

Input Materials - All kind of organic waste and residues:
Corn silage, grass silage, pig liquid manure, cattle liquid manure, chicken dung, energy grasses, vegetable waste, pomace, malt husks, food waste, kitchen waste, biowaste, old cooking oil, chip fat, flotation sludge, glycerin, slaughterhouse waste, ….

The benefits of biogas technology:
Independence from energy rising rates, as well as from possible disruptions in the supply of gas and electricity
The possibility of simultaneous multiple types of energy - electricity, heat, gas, motor fuel
The complete solution of the problem of disposal of organic waste into clean water and mineral fertilizers with high nitrogen and phosphorus components
The basis of the competitiveness of your company in the changing market conditions

Depending on the material used, there are 4 types of biogas plants:
- Agricultural biogas plants (liquid manure from cows, pigs, chicken manure, ...)
- Co-fermentation biogas plants ( waste from food processes,)
- Waste biogas plants (organic waste from the catering, slaughterhouses, food, household, ...)
- Industrial biogas plants (industrial waste - ethanol, biodiesel, etc.)

BIOGAS DIGESTION PROCESS

End products of biogas plants are electrical power, heat, fuel, fertilizer and biomethan.

Advantages by the use of fermentation residue:
    - The quantity of the fermentation residue is approx. 75 to 80 % of the quantity of the input material.
    - Higher fertiliser value
    - Saving of mineral fertilisers
    - Increased plant availability
    - Marked reduction in aroma-building substances
    - Reduction of harmful germs

The chemical composition of biogas is influenced by the kind of anaerobic digestion, mixture of substrates and operating mode of the bio converter.
